Evaluation for 1.2a
If designed to be static, materials include detailed lesson plans with learning objectives, teacher and student materials, lesson components with suggested timeframes, and assessment resources aligned with the TEKS and ELPS.
The materials include detailed lesson plans with learning objectives, educator and student materials, lesson components with suggested timeframes, and assessment resources aligned with the TEKS and ELPS. Each journey includes lesson-specific instructional guides with learning objectives, the TEKS and ELPS alignment, materials, instructional components, student resources, and suggested timeframes. The E1 Lesson-Level ELPS Companion provides lesson-level language objectives, ELPS codes, language demands, expected oral and written output, and corresponding Atlas Math adaptive practice pathways. Additionally, the assessment support documents identify both the TEKS and ELPS aligned to each end-of-journey test question, providing explicit TEKS and ELPS alignment within the assessment resources.
The materials include lesson-level guidance that explicitly connects learning objectives and instructional components to the TEKS and ELPS. In the F1 Lesson-Level ELPS Companion, each lesson identifies the primary concept, the TEKS content and process standards, the ELPS focus, language objective, language demand, expected oral and written student output, and suggested use within the corresponding Teacher Guide lesson. For example, F1.15, “Ratios, Rates, and Proportionality,” identifies TEKS 7.4.B, 7.4.C, and 7.4.E, and the ELPS for speaking, reading, and writing. The lesson provides a language objective requiring students to describe ratios or rates and use proportionality tables to solve for unknown quantities, along with expected oral and written responses. The companion also connects the lesson to Atlas Math adaptive practice and identifies ELPS 1.C and 3.C for the audio and written prompts provided within each activity. These resources provide explicit TEKS and ELPS alignment within the lesson-level instructional guidance and associated student practice.
