Supplemental Spanish Math, Grade 2 (IMRA25)
Program: Complete Spanish Math, Grade 2
Component: N/A (ISBN: N/A)
If this program is in Spanish I encourage to change the date to read correctly in Spanish and as well audio to be the same.
If this is a Spanish language skill why do 2nd graders have to learn Canadian money. USA should be the top priority here. Also, the Canadian coins are small and unable to define picture.
Numeracion, monedas, canadiense
Monedas: The Texas TEKS do not include Canadian money, so I don't believe students need to have this activity on Canadian coins.
Administracion de datos - contando
When student clicks on the dime and penny images to count it shows them how much they have. The penny and dime images show the actual amount there is in total. It would be better to not show the amount when clicking on images so that the student can be challenged to identify the correct amount on the multiple choice answers. Since images are show the amount, it does give them the answer already so students are not challenged to identify the correct answer.
Dinero - Americano: Cuenta centavos de diez y de uno
The program is challenging for our 2nd graders and this is good because it does prepare them for 3rd grade and the state assessment. It also covers all the categories and it gives them plenty of word problems which the students need to be able to get use to working word problems. The grammar is rigorous for the students as well and this is great.
