MAD is a an error

Page Number: 166
Location:

"Challenge
The range, mean, and MAD would always change. These measures all use the lowest (least) score in the calculation, so if the score changed the answer would be different. The IQR is based on the scores in increasing order: 0, 82, 85, 88, 91. So if Anna’s new score is 82 or lower, then the IQR and median would not change. If it is 83, 84, or 85, then the IQR would change, but not the median. If the new score is higher than 85, then both the median and IQR would change."

Reported Error ID 13987306:

Run-on sentence / comma splice:

The sentence beginning with “Each lesson in Hands-On Standards® Math Mini-Lessons, Grade 6 includes many features...” is overly long and improperly punctuated.

It attempts to list many ideas without proper separation, leading to confusion.

Misuse of "Including":

“Including” is used improperly after a complete sentence. It would be better as “which include” or restructured into a proper clause.

Inconsistent parallel structure in the list:

The listed items such as “background information, objectives, pacing and grouping suggestions...” are not cleanly or consistently presented.

Awkward phrasing:

“Take a walk through a lesson to see an explanation of each feature” could be made more concise and engaging.
